From June 10 to 12, 2026, the 17th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum & Exhibition (IIICF) was held in Macao. The event was conducted under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, and was co‑organized by the China International Contractors Association (CICA) and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).

As a standing council member of the China Association of Plant Engineering Consultants (CAPEC), Forenergy Inspection & Consultation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Forenergy") joined the Association in participating in this Forum and exhibited at booth B018. The delegation included Mr. Li Pengwei, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Management Department of CAPEC, Ms. Wang Guanhua from the Vocational Qualification and Training Department, along with Mr. Wei Wei, President of Forenergy, Ms. Li Nan, Vice President, and Ms. Huang Cancan, International Marketing Director. Together they presented to the global engineering community the professional strength of China's plant engineering consultancy industry in safeguarding the quality and safety of Belt and Road projects.
Highlight Moment: Mr. Ho Iat Seng, Former Chief Executive of Macao, Visited the Forenergy and CAPEC Booth
On the afternoon of June 11, Mr. Ho Iat Seng, the fifth Chief Executive of the Macao SAR and former Director of the Hengqin Guangdong‑Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, led a tour group to the Forenergy and CAPEC booth, where he was received by the leadership of Forenergy and the Association's staff, who provided detailed explanations.
Ms. Li Nan, Vice President of Forenergy, first introduced Mr. Ho Iat Seng to Forenergy's core capabilities. As a Class A standard entity in China's plant engineering consultancy industry, Forenergy holds CNAS accreditation and has long served Chinese manufacturing and engineering export projects, offering one‑stop solutions in inspection, testing, certification services, and project management (PMC/IPMT). Forenergy has gained access to more than 50 top‑tier industry clients worldwide and is recognised by major international owners including ADNOC, Sonatrach and BASF.
Ms. Li Nan also briefed Mr. Ho Iat Seng on Forenergy's supervisory body, the China Association of Plant Engineering Consultants (CAPEC). CAPEC is a national social organisation whose members cover major equipment manufacturing and engineering construction fields such as power, petrochemicals and rail transit. It also serves as the Secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plant Engineering Consultancy, having established a standards system covering multiple sectors. Recently, it has initiated research on the Specification for Plant Engineering Consultancy (English version) to help China's equipment manufacturing and engineering construction industries go global.
Mr. Ho Iat Seng highly recognised the collaborative efforts of CAPEC and its member companies in empowering the Belt and Road Initiative and green infrastructure, and encouraged them to continue leveraging their professional strengths to integrate into the development blueprint of Macao and the Hengqin Guangdong‑Macao Deep Cooperation Zone.
Booth B018: Joint Reception of Domestic and International Clients
Throughout the exhibition, the booth of Forenergy and CAPEC attracted numerous domestic and international tour groups and visitors for exchanges. Representatives from Forenergy and the Association jointly received the guests, engaging in multiple in‑depth discussions on topics such as technical services and industry standards.

Setting Sail from Macao: Continuing to Promote "Chinese Plant Engineering Consultancy"to the World
Through this joint participation, the two organisations attracted widespread attention from many clients worldwide. Looking ahead, Forenergy and CAPEC will actively respond to major national strategies such as the Belt and Road Initiative and the development of the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area. Driven by digitalisation, intelligence, green and low‑carbon development, they will provide professional, standardised and internationalised industrial inspection and plant engineering consultancy services to accelerate the global expansion of China's equipment manufacturing and service industries.
